Winter Birds


February 3, 2020 Buffalo's Outer Harbor

In the winter, the Niagara River strait, which connects Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, is host to as many as 19 species of gulls and  40 species of waterfowl. Hundreds of thousands of these birds can be seen on many days between November and March.
